New Acoustic Jazz Series in Kingston NY

Fine dining and swinging and stringing acoustic music comes to Kingston NY – Matt is bringing a series of instrumental trios into this great sounding room every Tuesday, from 7-9pm, during the Summer of 2024. The Restaurant Kinsley is a beautifully designed, comfortable space with a delicious menu and no cover charge – Oh, and we’re NOT on the patio after all – we’re inside the dining room, and we promise to keep the volume low, and the AC high! This is a chance for Matt to return to his acoustic guitar (a 1930 Gibson L-5), and listeners should expect to hear a cast of top jazz musicians lend their talents to material culled from the jazz traditions of New Orleans, Hot Club Style (Django), and American Songbook – with Caribbean, Italian and French flavors adding to the gumbo.
